BIOGRAPHY

Born on October 16, 1994, in Feldkirch, I showed a passion for music from an early age. Initially a self-taught musician, I eventually attended music school starting at the age of 12.

My first two teachers, Gregor Schatz and Roland Jenny, further encouraged me on my musical journey, and I graduated in 2013 from the music branch of BORG Bludenz with a focus on electric guitar.

In the same year, I decided to study guitar professionally and enrolled in the Jazz and Improvised Music program at the Tiroler Landeskonservatorium.

With Martin Nitsch and Roland Heinz as my main instructors, I was able to develop not only my instrumental skills but also find my own compositional voice through their constructive feedback.

I graduated with distinction from the program in Innsbruck in 2017 and began teaching at the Johann Sebastian Bach Music School in Innsbruck.

My further studies took me to Linz at the Anton Bruckner Private University and subsequently to the Mozarteum in Innsbruck, where I am currently completing my IGP - Jazz BA degree.

In addition to my academic training, I attended workshops with renowned guitarists such as Wayne Krantz, Gilad Hekselman, and Jon Herington.

In 2018, I received the BTV Jazz Youth Award in Innsbruck.

Alongside my studies, I have been playing in various groups and configurations since I was 16, with concerts taking me all over Europe.

In 2019, I had the opportunity to perform with the pop band MIM at the Donauinselfest in Vienna. Other significant milestones in my musical journey include several performances at the Innsbruck Treibhaus, at the New Orleans Festival in Innsbruck, concert tours to Indonesia with Hermann Delago, and participation in the "Leicht über Linz" festival.

Deeply rooted in the Tyrolean music scene, I have contributed to numerous CD productions, such as Sebastian Themessel's project "The Gallyard Company" in 2018, and as co-songwriter for the pop group MIM in 2019. I also realize my own music through my jazz quartet Elvira's Kiss or the singer-songwriter band "Earthtones"

Starting in 2020, I began producing and mixing other musicians. I expanded my expertise through audio production masterclasses with Andrew Scheps (Adele, U2, Johnny Cash).

My greatest joy in teaching is supporting people on their own musical journeys. Just as I learned from my teachers to develop my own voice, I aim to provide the same support to others as an educator.
